Comparison of anti-corrosion coated disc and a non-coated disc

The disc on the left is without any coating, and the disc on the right has anti-corrosion coating.
The difference in the amount of corrosion is clear even after just six months of use.
Not only does corrosion ruin the brake disc’s appearance, it can also lead to the corrosion of the alloy wheels. （At some car manufacturers, cars with alloy wheels come factory-equipped with brake discs that have anti-corrosion coating.）
At DIXCEL, all brake discs come with anti-corrosion coating, to protect discs and wheels from corrosion. The ideal type of anti-corrosion coating is used for each vehicle.

Cutting for balancing
All DIXCEL brake discs are checked for balance to prevent vibration. Correction of the balance is done by milling/cutting out the side of brake discs. This is a method taken by car manufacturers’ brake discs.
